Weitsman: Sagan House renovations anticipated to wrap up in late ’27

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Work is underway at the Carl Sagan House in Ithaca.

IM PEI, Cobb, & Free Architects, Fisher Associates Landscape Architecture, and WSP Geotechnical & Structural Engineering are collaborating to renovate the historic landmark, which sits above Ithaca Falls in Fall Creek Gorge.

Upstate Shredding Owner and CEO Adam Weitsman purchased the long-vacant property for about $2 million in November 2024. Weitsman, who says he’s loved the property since he was a young boy, anticipates the project will be completed in late 2027.
