BINGHAMTON, NY (607NewsNow) — State Sen. Lea Webb wants more time in Albany.

Webb announced her re-election campaign over the weekend in Binghamton, saying she’s proud of the record funding she’s delivered to the 52nd state Senate district in the past four years.

“I am humbled by the outpouring of support here tonight as I announce my campaign for reelection for a third term representing the people of Senate District 52.  I ran for office to be a strong voice for working families in Central New York and the Southern Tier,” Webb said. “I am proud of the progress we have made in the past four years to deliver record funding to our region and undo decades of underinvestment. We are in the middle of a challenging time and we need leaders who are ready to stand up and fight for our democracy, for reproductive justice, and for New York where everyone has a seat at the table.”

Webb is look to represent Tompkins, Cortland, and Broome counties for a third term.
