Wanted Moravia man arrested in Ithaca

MORAVIA, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cayuga County man awaits his day in court.

On May 16, deputies responded to a home in Moravia for a possible violation of an order of protection.

Darrin Badman, who left the scene before the arrival of authorities, allegedly violated the order several times and had been threatening harm to the protected party. The 34-year-old was located and arrested in Ithaca on May 17.

Badman is charged with felony aggravated criminal contempt. Due to his previous convictions and status as a probationer, he’s being held in Cayuga County Jail without bail.
