LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — The debate over a data center in Lansing is growing.

Tompkins County Legislator Mike Sigler, who represents Lansing, says it’s a conversation happening far and near.

Lansing’s planning board is currently reviewing a proposal from TeraWulf, who wants to build a data center at a former power plant site. Sigler adds it’s a decision that must be made by town officials.

On the subject of infrastructure, Sigler says it already exists.
