Tops issues store-level recall on Christopher Ranch bagged garlic

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A product sold at a local grocery chain is being recalled.

Out of an abundance of caution, Tops Friendly Markets is issuing a store-level recall of some 6 oz. packages of Christopher Ranch Bagged Garlic.

Officials say the product was not stored at the required temperature. It requires refrigeration between 32 and 37 degrees, and Tops’ open-air coolers cannot reach that temperature.

Customers can return it at any location for a full refund.
