ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Measles continues to rise across New York, but Tompkins County is still reporting no cases.

There have now been 22 cases in nearby Seneca County, which has passed Otsego County for the top spot in the state. There were no new illnesses reported in Steuben County, which has had 18 positive cases so far.

Broome, Onondaga, and Schuyler Counties are the only other nearby counties still showing zero cases. Oneida County has its first confirmed cases since 1996.

Meanwhile, a 6th measles-associated death has been reported in the neighboring state of Pennsylvania.
