OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) — Tioga County is spending more money on a construction project.

$22,500 will go toward asbestos abatement services at the Tioga County Courthouse and Court Annex Building. The unanticipated cost stems from a roof replacement project.

The Tioga County Legislature unanimously approved the funding on April 14.
