Tioga County lawmakers approve vehicle wash equipment purchases

OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) — Tioga County is making use of federal funding.

$14,076.89 from the American Rescue Plan Act will be spent on equipment for a vehicle wash facility. The equipment includes vehicle wheel guides, safety bollards, vehicle floor mat holders, pressure washer wand holders, a vehicle vacuum system, and a heating system.

The purchases were unanimously approved by the Tioga County Legislature on April 14.
