Three charged with child endangerment at SUNY Cortland Childcare Center

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – An investigation is underway at the SUNY Cortland Childcare Center.

The Cortland Standard reports that three employees, including the director and interim director, were recently arrested on child endangerment charges.

The employees are identified as 50-year-old Aimee Wyatt, of Truxton, 50-year-old Karen Diescher, of Cortland, and 29-year-old Kelsi Carlisle, of Cortland.

According to the Childcare Center, they haven’t received any regulation violations or corrective actions from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Police say the investigation is ongoing and they cannot share additional information at this time.
