Thefts from parked vehicles rising in Ithaca, IPD says

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Police Department is reporting a rash of thefts from parked vehicles.

According to a news release, locations of the alleged thefts include parking garages and parks. There are also reports of some vehicles with broken windows. IPD says you should always make sure your vehicles are locked, and valuable items are either hidden or taken with you.
