Sportscaster to deliver Syracuse commencement speech

SYRACUSE, NY (607NewsNow) — The voice of Sunday Night Football will speak at Syracuse University.

Sportscaster Mike Tirico will give a speech at the school’s 2026 commencement ceremony. It takes place May 10 at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Tirico graduated from Syracuse in 1988. Earlier this year, he called the Super Bowl and hosted the Winter Olympics on NBC.

Syracuse Chancellor Kent Syverud said the university is “honored and proud” to have Tirico speak.
