OTTAWA, ONTARIO (607NewsNow) — The Sabres are on a roll.

On Tuesday, the team defeated Ottawa 3-2 in overtime. The victory extended Buffalo’s win streak to seven.

After the game, Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff said the atmosphere in Ottawa was intense.

“It felt like a playoff game,” he said. “Both teams were trying to play tight defensively, both teams broke through a couple of times.”

Buffalo defenseman Bo Byram scored the winning goal in overtime.
