RICHFORD, NY (607NewsNow) — A Tioga County town is considering a temporary ban on solar energy systems.

Elsewhere in the region, lawmakers in Cortlandville are also considering a moratorium on approving new solar energy permits. The proposed ban in Cortlandville would last up to six months.
