Retirement party to honor Newark Valley public servant

NEWARK VALLEY, NY (607NewsNow) — Newark Valley is wishing farewell to a longtime worker.

Motor equipment operator Scot Coombs is retiring after 41 years of service. A retirement party takes place Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at Newark Valley Village Hall.

The celebration is open to the public.
