Register for April 1 rabies clinic in Cortland

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Registration is open for a rabies clinic in Cortland.

On April 1, the Cortland County Health Department is hosting the first in a series of free vaccination clinics this year.

Dogs, cats, and ferrets are welcome. Attendees are asked to bring prior proof of vaccination to receive a three-year certificate. If you don’t have the paperwork or it’s your pet’s first shot, the vaccination will be valid for one year.

The clinics are being held free of charge, but donations will go directly to local animal welfare groups and rabies prevention programs.

Each clinic will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Cortland County Office Building gym, located at 60 Central Avenue.
