CAYUGA HEIGHTS, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cayuga Heights Police Department is looking back on September.

Authorities in the village received 368 calls last month. That’s slightly fewer calls than August.

Cayuga Heights Police Chief Jerry Wright said one of the calls involved a large amount of jewelry that was allegedly stolen from a home. The investigation remains open, though Wright said a suspect has been identified.
