OVID, NY (607NewsNow) – There’s still time to pitch in for a cause in Ovid.

A hygiene drive at the Edith B. Ford Memorial Library runs through October 18.

The library served as one of several vital resource hubs for the town after a fire in January claimed nearly an entire block of buildings, destroying six businesses and 11 apartments.

At the time, officials estimated 20 people were displaced from their homes and 60 people lost their jobs, but there were no fatalities.

You can drop off any personal care items at the Edith B. Ford Library on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
