HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — Looking for a job or need a better job?

A live job fair will take place on Wednesday, August 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Center for the Arts in Homer. Over 30 companies will be in attendance, many of which are looking to hire on the spot.

Oven Fresh Jobs has been hosting quarterly job fairs over the past decade in Ithaca, Cortland, Homer, and Dryden.

The event is free for people to attend, and Oven Fresh Jobs keeps attendees interested with prizes and contests throughout the event hours. A full list of companies attending can be found at www.ovenfreshjobs.com.

“It’s a great time to find a quality job in our region,” said Chet Osadchey, President of the Cayuga Media Group. “We continue to see consistent demand for hiring from our area employers, and the job fair is a great way to get face-to-face time with them. Anyone looking to start a new career, improve the one they’ve started, or just wanting to see what’s out there should attend”.
