ERIN, NY (607NewsNow) – A Chemung County parolee awaits his day in court.

On January 14, State Police participating in a multi-agency Gun Involved Violence Elimination (G.I.V.E) detail conducted a compliance check at a home in Erin.

Troopers say 35-year-old Carlos Colon was found with 45 pounds of cannabis flower, 7 pounds of concentrated cannabis, and other materials, including scales and cash, consistent with drug sales.

Colon is charged with felony criminal possession of cannabis and parole violation. He was sent to Chemung County Jail without bail.
