Jewish center at Cornell would cause no environmental harm, board determines

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A religious project at Cornell is gaining momentum.

A proposed Jewish center on West Campus has been under review for several months. On Sept. 23, Ithaca’s Planning & Development Board determined the project would have no major impact on the environment.

The proposal could see preliminary approval later this month. The board is next scheduled to meet on Oct. 28.
