ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Tompkins International Airport has announced that United Airlines will resume a third daily flight between Ithaca and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) beginning March 5th, 2026.

Partly supported by the federal Small Community Air Service Development (SCASD) Grant program, increasing to three daily departures between Ithaca and Washington, D.C. means improved scheduling flexibility for business, government, university, and leisure travel.

“This additional daily flight to Washington Dulles reflects strong demand for reliable connectivity from Ithaca,” said Roxan Noble, Director of Ithaca Tompkins International Airport. “Expanding access to a major hub like Dulles strengthens our region’s economic competitiveness and provides our community with greater access to national and international destinations.”
