ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A 25-year-old man is accused of stealing in the Town of Ithaca.

On August 27, members of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 100 block of Iradell Road around 6:45 a.m. for an active burglary call.

Upon arrival, deputies located a suspect in the area, Nicholas Maier, who matched the reported description. Maier allegedly entered outbuildings and garages in the area, took items, and caused damage.

Maier is charged with three counts of felony burglary and two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.

It’s the second arrest for Maier this week. State Police charged him with burglary and criminal mischief on August 26 following an alleged break-in at a dental office on Arrowwood Drive in the Village of Lansing.
