ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Concert Band will take the stage this weekend.

The group performs Saturday at 7 p.m. at Ithaca College’s Ford Hall. Conductor Art Carichner said it won’t be an ordinary show.

“It’s our 50th anniversary concert, so it’s very special,” he said.

Conductor Rick Eleck said the show will feature former directors Beth Peterson and Mark Fonder.

“They’re amazing people, and we’re so excited to have them back,” he said.

The concert is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at the end of the show.
