ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca is canceling a contract with Flock Safety. 

The Common Council agreed to cut ties with Flock over concerns about privacy and data sharing. Alderperson Patrick Kuehl spoke strongly in favor of the resolution.

The resolution, which was introduced by Alderperson Robin Trumble, passed unanimously.
