ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A large winter storm is headed our way.

The National Weather Service has issued a pair of alerts for the Southern Tier: a cold weather advisory from 7 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, and a winter storm watch from 1 a.m. Sunday through 7 p.m. Monday. Cortland County Undersheriff Chad Burhans says be ready.

You should also be prepared in case you’re snowed in at home.
