ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Trade Design Build has been named as the US Chamber of Commerce’s CO-100 Top Small Business of 2026, earning national recognition and $25,000.

The company, run by three partner owners Gideon Stone, Michael Barnoski, and Chris Willett, was initially named to the Chamber’s 2026 CO—100: America’s Top 100 Small Businesses list in September. They were declared the overall winner at an awards dinner and gala at the Chamber’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 20th, 2026.

“The strength of America’s free enterprise system depends on entrepreneurs willing to turn bold ideas into successful businesses,” said Suzanne P. Clark, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Trade Design Build has done just that, building a company that serves customers, creates opportunity for its employees, and contributes to the vitality of its community.”

We’re really genuinely only here because of the people that we have in our company,” said Stone. “We have designers, carpenters, and people in our woodshop that do such extremely hard work with so much soul, commitment, and pride, and this recognition is really a testament to that.”
