ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Ithaca High School’s Kulp Auditorium is getting a major boost.

An anonymous donation of $100,000 has established the Steve Brookhouse Technical Theater Fund. It recognizes long-time advocate Brookhouse and will support upgrades to lighting, sound, and equipment.

“This generous donation means so much to us,” said ICSD Fine and Performing Arts Director Daphne Shululu. “It’s a powerful way to honor Steve Brookhouse and the lasting impact he continues to have on young people as they find their home and purpose backstage.”

The Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI) will manage the fund in partnership with the Fine Arts Booster Club (FABG).

Anyone who wants to contribute to the Steve Brookhouse Technical Theater Fund can do so through the IPEI.
