Homer FD: Vehicle a total loss after fire

HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – A fire in the Town of Homer is under investigation.

On May 9, the Homer Fire Department was dispatched to the 5000 block of Forbes Road just after 2 p.m. for a reported vehicle fire.

Arriving crews found a black Ford SUV nearly fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle was a total loss.

According to Homer FD, responding units were back in service in less than an hour.
