OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tioga County man is facing multiple charges.

A grand jury has indicted 46-year-old Shawn Fosdal after a series of incidents that occurred earlier this summer at the Owego EZ Mart.

Fosdal is accused of entering the convenience store on June 13, threatening the clerk with a knife, and stealing items. At the time of his initial arrest, police say he had also shoplifted from the same gas station the day before and damaged the front door of the business on June 4.

Fosdal is now formally charged with robbery, attempted burglary, criminal mischief, and petit larceny. According to the Morning Times, he has pleaded not guilty.
