Firefighting agreement under consideration in Ulysses

ULYSSES, NY (607NewsNow) — Leaders in Ulysses are reviewing an agreement involving first responders.

The Ulysses Town Board is considering approving a deal with the Village of Trumansburg. If approved, the town would pay the village $287,461 to provide firefighting services through 2026.

The board plans to vote on the agreement tonight at 7 p.m. A public hearing will take place before any decision is made.
