Dryden man facing multiple gun charges

DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – A Dryden man is facing multiple felonies.

On May 30, State Police arrested Joshua Russell around 6:15 p.m. following an investigation into illegally possessed firearms.

Troopers recovered a loaded gun, an assault weapon that is not New York State SAFE Act compliant, and a high-capacity magazine. Russell is also accused of acting “in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical health of a child.”

Russell is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
