DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — A former church in Dryden is being transformed.

Dryden Center for Community Executive Director Stephanie Ortolano says the purchase of the United Methodist Church is complete, and the building will be repurposed.

They want to make good use of the kitchen space, Ortolano said.

Money for the purchase was raised in about six weeks. The sale was completed on Feb. 11.
