DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – A project in Dryden is closer to reality after a large donation.

The organizers of the Dryden Center for Community recently received a $200,000 pledge from an anonymous donor.

The center’s GoFundMe campaign is now over $280,000, which is roughly 70% of its $400,000 goal. The money will be used to purchase and set up operations in the Dryden United Methodist Church, which closed over the summer due to financial issues after nearly 150 years of operation.
