FREMONT, NY (607NewsNow) — State Police are investigating a death in Steuben County. 

Troopers say the body of a 79-year-old man was discovered Monday by two fishermen in the Hornell Reservoir in the town of Fremont. Investigators did not see any signs of foul play. “The New York State Police were assisted by the Fremont Fire Department and the Hammondsport Fire Department.”

NYSP is still investigating.
