Crews extinguish garage fire in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY, NY (607NewsNow) — A fire in Johnson City is under investigation.

On May 26, authorities responded to a burning garage on Banks Avenue. Johnson City Fire Chief Keith McCaffery told WBNG-TV it took crews about five minutes to put out the flames.

No injuries were reported and the garage wasn’t deemed a total loss. Firefighters from Binghamton and Endwell assisted on the scene.
