CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cortlandville Zoning Board of Appeals has rejected a recreational proposal.

On Dec. 2, the board denied an application for a driving range and putting area on Commons Avenue. Cortlandville Planning & Zoning Officer Bruce Webber said the applicant “didn’t meet the requirements for a use variance.”

The applicant, Andrew Nobles, said he plans to request a rehearing. He said the board had “significant confusion” regarding how to answer statutory questions.

Nobles hasn’t had much luck with the board this year. In May, the board denied his application for a driving range on Starr Road.
