Cortland County Sheriff’s Office believes runaway juvenile may be in Ithaca area

UPDATE: The public assistance request has been canceled, and Sheriff Mark Helms says Schmidt has been found.

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Authorities in Cortland County are searching for a runaway juvenile.

Deputies say 16-year-old Autumn Schmidt is white, 5’4″ tall, with blue eyes, and has brown hair with red highlights.

She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants of an unknown color. Schmidt is believed to be in or around the City of Ithaca.
