Cornell women’s soccer falls to Pittsburgh

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — It was a tale of two halves in Ithaca.

The Cornell women’s soccer team hosted Pittsburgh on Sunday. The Big Red led the visitors 1-0 at halftime, but the lead vanished after the intermission.

Pittsburgh tallied two goals in the second half. The winning goal was scored by senior Sofia Doheny.

Cornell next plays Colgate on Thursday at 6 p.m. It’ll be Cornell’s first road game of the season.
