ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A nonprofit group in Ithaca is asking for feedback.

The Coddington Road Community Center’s new building is nearly complete, and landscape planners are turning their focus to the childcare and neighborhood center’s outdoor space.

The outdoor landscape project is a collaboration with the Cornell Architecture, Art, and Planning team. It’s one of the final parts of a multi-phase, multi-million-dollar expansion project, which includes new classrooms, an indoor gym, and an outdoor community space. It began in 2023.

The Coddington Road Community Center is asking residents of Ithaca, Danby, Caroline, Brooktondale, and South Hill neighborhoods to help inform the design and amenities.

The survey is available here.
