CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Centro has scheduled a public hearing in Cortland County.

On October 28, residents will have an opportunity to provide feedback on bus service changes and the discontinuation of the Cortland monthly pass, which takes effect Jan. 1, 2027.

Centro says the adjustments constitute a major service change to Cortland County’s bus routes, and details will be made available on Centro’s website no later than next Friday, October 23.

Riders who may be affected by the changes are encouraged to attend to present comments, evidence, or objections to proposed changes.

Anyone who cannot attend the meeting in person can provide comments to Centro in advance or through November 4 by phone, email, mail, fax, or social media.

The public hearing takes place on October 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cortland County Office Building.
