Bicyclist helicoptered to hospital after Lansing crash

Update — State Police have identified the bicyclist as 73-year-old John Silicano, of Ithaca. He’s listed in critical but stable condition at Upstate Medical University.

LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — A crash in Lansing is under investigation.

Around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, State Police responded to Brickyard Road near Ludlowville Road. Troopers said a vehicle struck a bicyclist, who was then helicoptered to a hospital.

There’s no word on the extent of the injuries.
