Bath PD trace school threat to Geneva woman

BATH, NY (607NewsNow) — A Geneva woman is accused of threatening a school district. 

Police in the village of Bath say a call to Steuben County 911 on Friday morning, Dec. 19 making unspecified threats to the Bath Central School District was traced back to Carrie McChesney.

The 36-year-old was located quickly and charged with making a terroristic threat, which is a felony. The district was placed on a temporary lockdown that was lifted after a couple hours.
