Authorities seek info about dumped kitten in Schuyler County

MONTOUR FALLS, NY (607NewsNow) – An animal cruelty investigation is underway in Schuyler County.

On July 9, a 10-ounce, two-week-old black kitten was found in a garbage bag after being thrown out in a dumpster.

Officials with Schuyler County Humane Society tell 607NewsNow they have not been able to determine the specific location of the dumpster, only that it was in Schuyler County. The dumpster carriers have combed through its contents for clues to help identify who may have perpetrated the crime to no avail.
