Area colleges and universities preparing for 2026 commencement

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Local colleges and universities are preparing for 2026 commencement ceremonies.

On Friday, May 15, SUNY Cortland graduate students will receive diplomas, and over 1,500 Red Dragon undergraduates will walk the stage in three ceremonies on Saturday, May 16.

Work is underway in Ithaca as well, with Ithaca College commencement set for May 17 on South Hill. TC3’s graduation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, on campus in Dryden. Cornell will hold two outdoor ceremonies over Memorial Day Weekend.
