8-year-old girl missing in Nichols, authorities say

NICHOLS, NY (607NewsNow) — A child from Tioga County is missing.

According to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, authorities believe 8-year-old Amelia Lawrence is in danger. She was last seen walking on Lower Briggs Rd. in the town of Nichols around 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5.

When last seen she was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. If you see her, call 911.
