ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Police Department is charging an Ithaca man with attempted murder. 

20-year-old Nazir Chisolm was arrested Friday in Tennessee after allegedly stabbing someone more than two months ago. Police say the victim was found June 12th in the 300 block of West Green Street with stab wounds following a dispute.

Chisolm is back in Ithaca and is now being held in the Tompkins County Jail. Chief Tom Kelly says IPD “extends its appreciation to the U.S. Marshals Service and the Blount County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee for their assistance in locating and apprehending Chisolm.”
