WAVERLY, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Village of Waverly’s local planning committee is seeking project proposals for development.

$4.5 million in funding is available through the New York Forward Grant Program for downtown revitalization. Waverly won that award earlier this year. Officials hope the improvements will attract new businesses, grow the local tax base, create more diverse housing and job opportunities.

A virtual meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. to provide more information, including eligibility requirements. Learn more and register. All proposals must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on June 30, 2023.
