Report: Ithaca’s income equality high, wage growth low

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A new report from the non-partisan Milken Institute shows income inequality is very high in Ithaca. 

Ian Greer at the Cornell ILR School tells WHCU he was shocked by the numbers. 

Data also shows a growing income divide in Ithaca. 

According to the Milken Institute, Ithaca’s income inequality ranking compares to developing nations like Angola and Guatemala.
