Part of College Avenue to close for crane work in Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Traffic delays are likely today in Collegetown.

Ithaca City officials say rooftop work that requires a crane is set to be done in the 300 block of College Avenue. College Avenue will be completely blocked off from Catherine Street to Dryden Road from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. for the work, though fire trucks will be able to travel from the fire station north to Dryden Road. Drivers are advised to avoid the area. There are no expected pedestrian delays.
