Osborne: Tompkins County Jail needs more infrastructure improvements

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The leader of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office says the county jail needs renovation work.

Sheriff Derek Osborne tells WHCU the building has seen better days.

The jail is already starting to see improvements.

Osbourne says larger work would cost millions of dollars, which is currently being discussed in the Tompkins County Legislature.
